Beaver Dam State Park RV & Campground Guide

Nevada

Beaver Dam State Park is located along Beaver Dam Wash in Lincoln County, on the Nevada / Utah state line. It covers an area of over 2,000 acres and was among the first four state parks established by the Nevada Legislature in 1935. It is eastern Nevada's most remote park, but don’t let that deter you. Beaver Dam’s primitive and rustic character, as well as activities such as picnicking, hiking, camping, and trout fishing, will impress even the toughest of nature enthusiasts. Expect stunning landscapes and scenery, including deep canyons, warm springs, flowing streams and waterfalls, outcrops of volcanic rocks, and thickly wooded forests which are home to wildlife such as coyotes, foxes, bobcats, mountain lions, snakes, lizards, and so much more.

The state park is open year-round and experiences variable rainfall, however, thunderstorms are common during the monsoon months of July and August. Summer high temperatures average about 93˚F, with lows around 50˚F at night, while winter high temperatures average 45˚F with lows of 25˚F.
